Bridget is a seasoned policy professional with more than two decades of experience in government, Fortune 100, and entrepreneurial settings.

Influenced by her large, multicultural family background, Bridget brings her natural curiosity and collaborative spirit to her work and applies that particular expertise to coalition management. A nerd at heart, she loves to dig into the detail of policy work, which has established her as a credible resource across the aisle on financial services, tax, and retirement policy. She is an acknowledged leader in insurance, and in 2019 was selected to serve on the Federal Reserve Board’s Insurance Policy Advisory Committee. Bridget is relentlessly focused on translating her policy knowledge and tapping her expansive bipartisan network to deliver for clients.

Prior to joining Mindset, Bridget led Nationwide’s Washington, DC, office of federal government relations. In that capacity, she led the company’s federal legislative and regulatory strategy. Bridget also was a member of the management team of Nationwide’s Chief Financial Officer and helped connect the company’s business objectives with policy risks and opportunities. She brings this in-house experience to bear for Mindset clients in the firm’s corporate strategic advisory work.

Before joining Nationwide in June 2002, Bridget served as a pension policy analyst with the American Academy of Actuaries, where she honed her pension knowledge and gave up her dream of being an actuary. Prior to that, she worked as a legislative aide for Congressman Earl Pomeroy (D-ND), who was a member of the House tax-writing committee.

Bridget is a cum laude graduate of Harvard University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in government. A strong advocate for women’s advancement in the workforce, she was a co-founder of the DC chapter of the Harvard Women’s Alumni Network.
